 The Cambridge Springs Devils will be playing at home against the Maplewood Tigers at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The pair are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
 Cambridge Springs took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Wednesday. They never let Union City onto the board and left with  a   6-0  win.
  Owen Riley made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Riley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in five consecutive pitching appearances. Riley was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

 Meanwhile, Maplewood can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Wednesday. They blew past Eisenhower 11-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Maplewood.
 Like Cambridge Springs, Maplewood also got a great game from a two-way player:  Andrew Proper. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Proper was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Chase Koelle and  Mitchell Potosky did most of the damage at the plate:  Koelle  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Potosky  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  RBI.
 Cambridge Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Maplewood, their win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5.
 Cambridge Springs might still be hurting after the  11-1 loss they got from Maplewood  in their previous meeting  on April 6th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Koelle, who   struck out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.
