Lake Marion had won three straight home games and Zimarika Moorer did her part to make it four on Friday. The Gators claimed a resounding 68-8 victory over the Cross Trojans with plenty of help from Moorer, who shot 42% from the field en route to 12 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season.

Alayshia Wallace was another key player, putting up four points. Those points were her first of the season.

The win got Lake Marion back to even at 4-4. As for Cross, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Lake Marion and Cross will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. The Gators will head out to face the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
