Soccer Recap: Kendrick Comes Up Short

Kendrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sumter County Panthers, falling 11-0.

Kendrick's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sumter County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kendrick will venture away from home to take on Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbus' defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Kendrick's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sumter County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sumter County duke it out with Crisp County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
