Football Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pebblebrook lost against Lithia Springs back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost to the Lions on the road by a 28-14 margin.

Despite the loss, Pebblebrook still got an impressive performance from Jayden Adams, who threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score on only five carries. Demitri Griffin was Adams' top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 2.8 yards per carry. While two picked up at least eight total tackles, Keylen Clay stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss). Pebblebrook's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

Pebblebrook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lithia Springs, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Pebblebrook will be playing at home against Meadowcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lithia Springs, they will head out on the road to square off against Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
