League recap: Briarcliff's Kulman delivers best pitching performance from past week

Section 1 Conference 3 - C league recap: 5/22/13

Briarcliff's Spencer Kulman was the best pitcher in Section 1 Conference 3 - C this week. He struck out ten batters this week.

Pleasantville outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Panthers beat Croton-harmon 9-2, Keio 7-6 and the Tigers 5-0.

The Bears boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

There were three hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. They were led by Adam Shaukat, who hit .429 this week (6-for-14).

Croton-Harmon's Izaak Cohen racked up six RBIs this week, more than any other hitter. Cohen has 15 RBIs this season, fourth in the league.



Nanuet's Kulman struck out ten Briarcliff hitters en route to a 1-0 victory on May 17. Over seven innings of work, he gave up four hits and one run.
