Basketball Recap: West Union Gets the Win

Peebles came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against West Union, but Annabelle Mcintosh wouldn't allow it. The West Union Dragons secured a 59-55 W over the Peebles Indians on Thursday thanks in part to Mcintosh, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 19 points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Shelbi Weakley was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave her a new career-high.

The victory got West Union back to even at 7-7. As for Peebles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

West Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-18 win against East on the 25th. As for Peebles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-41 victory against Chillicothe on the 25th.
