Kennedy has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will host the Reseda Regents at 7:00 p.m. Reseda took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kennedy, who comes in off a win.
Kennedy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 47-30 victory over Granada Hills Charter on Friday. The Cougars pushed the score to 41-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Highlanders cut but never quite recovered from.
It was another big night for Diego Montes, who rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. Everything came up roses for Kennedy against Reseda in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 as the team secured a 49-6 victory. In that contest, Kennedy amassed a halftime lead of 36-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
