Basketball Recap: Lincoln Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Lincoln Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals 78-75.

Despite the loss, Doniphan-Trumbull still got an impressive performance from Jack Poppe, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten assists. That's the most points Poppe has posted since back in December of 2023. Ty Bennett was another key player, going 7 for 17 en route to 21 points.

Lincoln Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Lincoln Christian has already played their next game, a 57-24 victory against Kearney Catholic on the 27th. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, they will head out on the road to square off against Ord at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
