Basketball Game Preview: Chapin Huskies vs. Andress Eagles

The Chapin Huskies are taking a road trip to face off against the Andress Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapin will be strutting in after a win while Andress will be coming in after a defeat.

Andress is hoping to do what Canutillo couldn't on Friday: put an end to Chapin's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Chapin strolled past Canutillo with points to spare, taking the game 44-27.

Chapin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samantha Wise led the charge by going 5 for 12 on her way to 14 points and six rebounds. Vanessa Mora was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Chapin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Andress was beaten by Burges 73-21 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.
