Baseball Recap: Treasure Coast's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Treasure Coast won the last time they faced Port St. Lucie and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Jaguars. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Treasure Coast's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Giulian Iglesias, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Iglesias a new career-high. Thomas Johnson was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Treasure Coast's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Port St. Lucie, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15-1.

Coming up, Treasure Coast will be playing at home against Henry Clay at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will face off against St. Edward's at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
