Basketball Recap: Casey County Comes Up Short

If Casey County was feeling good fresh off their 76-27 takedown of Robertson County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels were beaten by the Pulaski County Maroons 56-26 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Maroons are ranked 24th).

Casey County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pulaski County, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Casey County will venture away from home to square off against Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pulaski County, they will challenge South Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
