Volleyball Recap: Shasta Gets the Win + How To Watch

Shasta hadn't done well against Foothill recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wolves came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Shasta was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (97-95), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 25-22, 31-29.

Olivia Sutter was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last five matchups.

Sutter wasn't the only good servers: Shasta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive contests.

Shasta's record is now 14-8. As for Foothill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
