Soccer Game Preview: North Myrtle Beach vs. Conway

For the first time this season, North Myrtle Beach will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will face off against the Conway Tigers at 7:15 p.m.

North Myrtle Beach is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Waccamaw just ended the team's three-game winning streak last Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Conway had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Red Foxes. Considering the Tigers have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Conway pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three games. As for North Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

North Myrtle Beach beat Conway by a goal when the teams last played back in February, winning 2-1. Will North Myrtle Beach repeat their success, or does Conway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
