Football Game Preview: Methacton Warriors vs. Norristown Eagles

The Methacton Warriors will take on the Norristown Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 35-7, which was the final score in Methacton's tilt against Spring-Ford on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Rams are ranked 125th).

Meanwhile, Norristown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 46-19 loss at the hands of Owen J. Roberts.

Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Norristown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Methacton strolled past Norristown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 26-7. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
