After a string of six wins, Clayton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 back in March.
Jeremiah Short put in work no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit.
