Basketball Recap: 13 Straight Road Victories for Guilford

It's playoff time, and Guilford had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Rockford East E-Rabs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-38. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Rockford East lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Marquis Goldsmith, who posted eight points and 15 boards. He is becoming a predictor of Rockford East's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 18-8 (and 2-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Brian Harper, who earned 11 points and three steals.
