Basketball Recap: Peotone Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Peotone hadn't done well against Lisle recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Peotone Blue Devils walked away with a 51-41 victory over the Lisle Lions. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Lions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 62-59 defeat.

Peotone is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Lisle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Peotone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 80-55 win against Momence on the 31st. As for Lisle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-56 loss against Southland College Prep on the 31st.
