Walton is 8-2 against North Cobb since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Walton Raiders will head out on the road to take on the North Cobb Warriors at 7:30 p.m.

Walton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Wheeler, who was ranked second at the time (Walton was ranked eighth). Meanwhile, after only 29 points in their last match, North Cobb made sure to put some points up on the board against Marietta on Friday. North Cobb narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Marietta 59-57. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Walton's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for North Cobb, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

Everything came up roses for Walton against North Cobb in their previous meeting on January 7th, as the squad secured a 75-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
