Mountlake Terrace never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 29-0 victory over the Shorecrest Scots. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Owen Boswell had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 115 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Mason Wilson also helped out as he racked up 128 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mountlake Terrace was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 325 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 240 rushing yards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Mountlake Terrace's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Shorecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Mountlake Terrace will head out on the road to face off against Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Shorecrest, they will face off against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
