Nixa had won seven straight games and Jayden McCaster did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Eagles took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over the Ozark Tigers thanks in part to McCaster, who rushed for 235 yards and three scores while picking up 13.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

Nixa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Wyatt Mabe and Peyton Chainey. Mabe got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Nixa's record is now 8-0. As for Ozark, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nixa is set to take on their familiar foe Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ozark will challenge rival Kickapoo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
