Softball Recap: Canyon View Takes a Loss

Canyon View was the 16-0 winner over Desert Hills when they last played one another back in April of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Canyon View Falcons lost 12-1 to the Desert Hills Thunder on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered against the Thunder since April 10, 2018.

Canyon View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saide Adams, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Desert Hills, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Canyon View will take on Bear River in a tournament on Friday. As for Desert Hills, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mountain Crest at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
