Basketball Recap: Randolph-Macon Academy Find Success

Randolph-Macon Academy won the last time they faced Fredericksburg Academy, and Kay Perry did her part to make sure it happened again. The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets walked away with a 37-30 win over the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons on Thursday thanks in part to Perry, who posted 22 points along with six boards and four blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Randolph-Macon Academy's points.

Another player making a difference was Brigitte Notewo, who scored six points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Randolph-Macon Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fredericksburg Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Randolph-Macon Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-9 win against Tandem Friends on the 17th. Fredericksburg Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 62-28 loss against Highland on the 17th.
