After losing to Ingram Moore the last time they met, Lytle decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates skirted past the Warriors 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Lytle saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marley Macias, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Anissa Perez was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Lytle's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Ingram Moore, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Lytle has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 win against Weimar on the 20th. As for Ingram Moore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Johnson City on the 20th.
