Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Churubusco, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Prairie Heights 11-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the match before.

The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Churubusco, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-4.
