Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orangeville). They came out on top against the Durand/Pecatonica Rivermen by a score of 12-9 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Broncos needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Brian Dittmar and Oskar Bissell did most of the damage at the plate: Dittmar scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Bissell scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Dittmar also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Soddy, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Orangeville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Orangeville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Durand/Pecatonica, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
