Soccer Game Preview: Gautier vs. Picayune

After a short break, it's finally time for some more action. The Gautier Gators will venture away from home to face off against the Picayune Maroon Tide at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Gautier and four for Picayune.

Gautier lost 4-1 to George County two weeks ago. That's two games in a row now that Gautier have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Picayune came up short against Oak Grove two weeks ago, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Picayune were already down 3-0.

Gautier's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Picayune, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2.
