Recap: Red Lion Lions vs. Dallastown Wildcats
If The Red Lion Lions were riding high off their 61-24 takedown of the Northeastern Bobcats last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Red Lion fell just short of Dallastown by a score of 27-25. Red Lion was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dallastown apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Red Lion's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris Price, who rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown. LaDainian Strausbaugh was another key contributor, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Dallastown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shamar Smith, who rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
Red Lion has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Dallastown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
Red Lion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dallastown also has no future games currently scheduled.
