Volleyball Recap: Sonoma Valley Takes a Loss

Sonoma Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Alhambra Bulldogs.

While Sonoma Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21.

Sonoma Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alhambra, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Sonoma Valley will take on Piedmont in a tournament on Saturday. As for Alhambra, they will take on Pinole Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
