Basketball Recap: Wellborn Takes a Loss

Wellborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cleburne County Tigers, falling 72-46. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-70 back in December of 2024.

Wellborn's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Cleburne County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Wellborn has already played their next contest, a 73-60 defeat against Jacksonville Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Cleburne County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-47 loss against Central of Clay County on the 15th.
