Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Corona

The Centennial Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Corona Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Centennial managed to slip by Roosevelt the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies came up short against the Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. It was the first time this season that Centennial let down their fans at home.

Meanwhile, neither Corona nor Santiago could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Corona's record moves to 6-3-3. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-2.
