Giltner has gone 9-0 against Dorchester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Giltner Hornets will be playing at home against the Dorchester Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses apiece.

Giltner is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Kenesaw on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Giltner took a blow against Kenesaw, falling 64-20. The Hornets were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite the defeat, Giltner saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Braxton Cady posted four points and six boards.

Dorchester played against East Butler and lost via forfeit.

Giltner's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Dorchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
