Recap: Freedom Eagles vs. Hylton Bulldogs
Sadly, Freedom is still looking for their first win of the season after four matches. They fell victim to a rough 20-3 defeat at the hands of the Hylton Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Freedom of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Freedom saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arturo Castillo, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hylton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Hylton, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Osbourn at 12:00 p.m.
