Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Surry Central

Surry Central and West Wilkes pushed the score to 5-4 the last time they played West Wilkes, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Golden Eagles never let the Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 back in March.

Ashley Torres and Brook-Lynne Britton scored both of Surry Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.
