Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Big Blue vs. Middletown Middies

Hamilton hasn't had much luck against Middletown recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Hamilton Big Blue will take on the Middletown Middies at 1:45 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hamilton is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Lakota West and fell 66-15. The Big Blue were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-3.

Meanwhile, Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-39 loss at the hands of Lakota East. That's two games in a row now that the Middies have lost by exactly 33 points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Hamilton suffered a grim 66-46 defeat to Middletown in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
