Softball Recap: Boron Takes a Loss

Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-5 to the Immanuel Christian Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 back in March.

Kalli Wolfe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Boron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Immanuel Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.

Boron will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Frazier Mountain at 3:15 p.m. As for Immanuel Christian, they will take on Mojave at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
