Wilson took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Covenant Christian Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Covenant Christian between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.

Olivia Poarch paced Wilson's offense, picking up seven kills. Poarch got some help from Olivia Watkins and her 17 assists. Anna Simone controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Phil Campbell on the 21st. As for Covenant Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Waterloo on the 23rd.
