Soccer Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minerva Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Carrollton of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Minerva, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-9-3.

Carrollton has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Tuscarawas Valley on the 6th. As for Minerva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Hiland on the 2nd.
