Baseball Recap: San Francisco Waldorf Takes a Loss

If San Francisco Waldorf was feeling good fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Marin Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines lost 15-5 to the Westmoor Rams on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Sam Appel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Yuumi Kakinuma, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

San Francisco Waldorf now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Westmoor, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Francisco Waldorf will take on Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westmoor, they will face off against Priory at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Priory their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
