Newport - Bellevue lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Elianna Weiss, who posted 17 points along with eight boards and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Elie De Leon, who earned 12 points and six rebounds.

Mercer Island's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Rathod led the charge by putting up 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Russell, who put up 13 points and eight boards.

Newport - Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mercer Island, their record now sits at 4-2.
