Football Game Preview: Novi Wildcats vs. Howell Highlanders + How To Watch

The Novi Wildcats will head out to take on the Howell Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Novi has given up an average of 26.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Novi is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 38 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Salem on Friday. They took a blow against the Rocks, falling 35-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered against the Rocks since October 7, 2017.

Meanwhile, Howell entered their tilt with Hartland on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-7 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Highlanders just coasted through the last quarter.

Howell's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Novi, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for Novi, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 35-21 loss to Howell in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
