Baseball Recap: Davidson Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Davidson was forced to take a big loss against Mary G. Montgomery on Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings a 6-0 shutout. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Vikings on their field since April 16, 2022.

Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Mary G. Montgomery, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-22.

Looking ahead, Davidson will face off against Blount at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mary G. Montgomery, they will take on Daphne at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
