Softball Game Preview: Williamsville Bullets vs. Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals

The Williamsville Bullets will head out to face off against the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Williamsville is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since April 19th on Tuesday. They lost 15-5 to Mt. Zion. The Bullets have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Warrensburg-Latham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lexington, falling 17-2.

Williamsville's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Warrensburg-Latham, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Williamsville was able to grind out a solid victory over Warrensburg-Latham when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 16-13. Do the Bullets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
