 Espanola Valley can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  19-10 margin over the Navajo Prep Eagles. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
  Aliah Villalobos made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Villalobos was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Leah Vigil, who  fired off three  runs, three  doubles,  and three  RBI while going 5-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Aliya Rael-Lopez, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 Espanola Valley pushed their record up to 4-7 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 13 runs. As for Navajo Prep, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 0-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Espanola Valley will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Los Alamos at 4:00  p.m.  on April 3rd. As for Navajo Prep, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Newcomb at 2:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
