Football Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 28-14 fall against the Hunterdon Central Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Farmers of the 10-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hunterdon Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hunterdon Central, they will head out to face off against East Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
