Softball Recap: Oak Park Comes Up Short

Oak Park lost against Agoura back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oak Park Eagles came up short against the Agoura Chargers, falling 12-1. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Oak Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kirthi Paramasivan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Oak Park now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Agoura, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Oak Park will face off against Royal at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Park is facing Royal at the right time seeing as Royal is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Agoura, they will take on Thousand Oaks at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Thousand Oaks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Agoura's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
