Softball Recap: Winnebago Comes Up Short

Winnebago managed to slip by Rock Falls the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Rockets on Thursday, falling 8-2.

Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Rock Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-19.

Coming up, Winnebago will square off against North Boone at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rock Falls will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' matchup: after the Indians face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Rock Falls again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
