After losing to Spring Grove the last time they met, Dallastown decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rockets on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-3.

Dallastown got a great performance from Matt Stone as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Stone has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Dallastown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Kessler, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Landon Williams was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Dallastown's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Spring Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallastown will host Cedar Cliff at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Grove, they will square off against New Oxford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
