Soccer Game Preview: Fike vs. Lee County

The Fike Demons will venture away from home to challenge the Lee County Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Fike is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Hunt just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for Fike seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Meanwhile, Lee County's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They won by a goal and slipped past Southern Lee 3-2.

Lee County hit the Cavaliers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma McElroy, Ava Baldwin, and Lila Moshfegh.

Fike's loss dropped their record down to 15-5-2. As for Lee County, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
