Baseball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Forest Academy came into this matchup off a tough 14-run defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the North Shore Country Day Raiders by a score of 12-10 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Caxys in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jude Trandel was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Landon Fraser was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Shore Country Day, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Forest Academy will host Schaumburg Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
