Soccer Recap: Phoenix Find Success

Phoenix's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past the Homer Trojans 2-1. This was a revenge game for Phoenix: when they faced off against Homer back in September, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Phoenix and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Homer, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4-1.

As of now, neither Phoenix nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
